Our story started with child hood memories of watching sunsets with family and friends on the beaches of northern Michigan. It started with trips to the Florida Keys where catching dinner by sunset was the number one priority. It started with making tree swings out of a piece of rope and a small wooden plank. It started when picking up your friends for ice cream meant driving a whaler across the lake and boating to the “bay”. It started when we were younger and things seemed to be a lot easier. A cheap baby sitter was a game of kick the can or ghost in the graveyard with neighborhood kids so our parents could enjoy an evening cocktail and conversations with neighbors.
Fast forward 30 years and countless memories made. We find ourselves with kids of our own in a world that seems more keen playing video games and watching TV than flying a kite or catching fire flies. A world where memories are made talking on the internet with people you may have never met in person. A world where kids have to be told, "get outside and play".
Today, our story is being written one day at a time as we try to pass along some of the experiences we enjoyed to our children. It is being written as we try to create new experiences that they will remember 30 years from now. It is two people trying to provide the outdoor products and services to others so they too can create stories of their own. Stories that involve sunsets, sitting around fires, swimming in the water, playing games or just laying in the sun. All of these stories are made better when adding friends and family and overindulging in great conversation and endless laughter. They are stories that anyone can make if they would only just "get outside and play"!

What is Cornhole?
It has been called many things, Corn Toss, Bean Bag, Chuck-O, Bean Toss, Soft Horseshoes, Indiana Horseshoes. It has been said that the game originated in Germany in the 14th century, and then was rediscovered in the hills of Kentucky over 100 years ago. Cornhole or Bean Bag Toss is similar to horseshoes except you use wooden boxes called cornhole platforms and corn bags instead of horseshoes and metal stakes. Contestants take turns pitching their corn bags at the cornhole platform until a contestant reaches the score of 21 points. A corn bag in the hole scores 3 points, while one on the platform scores 1 point. The biggest reasons to play Cornhole or Corn Toss instead of horseshoes or other similar games is that Cornhole can be played anywhere and everyone can play Cornhole.
